Old First Reformed Church is near the following subway and bus lines:

• Subway:

  • IRT (2,3) Grand Army Plaza station This station has 3 exits to the street from the mezzanine level. Two lead to the south side of Flatbush Avenue (are marked as such). The one on the right side is best. You will be on Plaza Street West just off Lincoln Place. Walk to Lincoln Place and turn right. You're only a short walk from 8th Avenue; continue walking downhill to 7th Avenue. Make a left, and walk 4 short blocks (Berkeley Pl., Union St., President St; church is between President and Carroll Streets, just before Carroll.
  • Q (all times) and B (weekdays only) Seventh Avenue station This station is located on Flatbush Ave at the beginning of 7th avenue. Walk the 7 very short blocks to Carroll Street.
  • BMT (R, D, or N weekends if running local)
    Union Street Station
    Walk up Union Street 3 blocks from Fourth Avenue to Seventh Avenue, then 2 very short blocks to Carroll Street.
  • IND (F train) to Seventh Avenue station. Closest stairs: last (rearmost) if coming from Manhattan or Brooklyn Heights/Cobble Hill; first if coming from Coney Island. Just walk down Seventh Avenue. Street numbers get lower; after 1st street, it's Garfield Place then Carroll Street, where the church is located.
  
  

• Bus:

  • B67 (Seventh Ave.) runs between downtown Brooklyn and Kensington. Get off at Union Street and walk 2 very short blocks.
    
    
  • B71 (Union Street) runs between Carroll Gardens and Crown Heights Just take the bus to 7th avenue, and it's a 2 (very short) block walk to Old First!
    
    
  • B63 (Fifth Ave.)
    runs between Cobble Hill and Bay Ridge. Ask driver for nearest stop to Carroll St and walk to 7th ave.
    
    
  • B41 (Flatbush Avenue) runs between Downtown Brooklyn and Mill Basin OR Kings Plaza .... get off at Flatbush and 7th Ave. Walk up Seventh Ave. (approximately 7 very short blocks).
